Museum
The Museum of Goa, known as MOG, is a private contemporary art museum in the Pilerne Industrial Estate, founded by the artist Subodh Kerkar and opened in November 2015 in a building by architect Dean D'Cruz. Its galleries and sculpture garden tell Goa's history through contemporary works, and the museum runs a steady programme of talks, film screenings, workshops and children's sessions. It is open Tuesday to Sunday
The museum is closed on Mondays. On other days it opens from 10 am to 6 pm. Students get a ₹150 ticket on Wednesdays; carry your ID card. Pilerne Industrial Estate has no beach-road buses. Hire a scooter or book a taxi both ways from Candolim, Calangute or Porvorim.
