Things to do in Arambol

Arambol, near Goa's northern tip, keeps the traveller culture that has faded elsewhere. The long beach ends at a rocky path leading to the Sweet Water Lake at Paliem, and at dusk in season the sand has traditionally filled with a drum circle, fire spinners and a sunset market of handmade jewellery and clothes. Cafés and bars along the beach road run open mics, jam sessions and live bands most nights, and the village is a centre for yoga teacher trainings, dance and music workshops.
