About Ravindra Bhavan, Margao
Ravindra Bhavan in Fatorda is South Goa's main performing-arts complex, inaugurated in July 2008 and run by a society under the state's Directorate of Art and Culture. Its 1,069-seat main hall is named after João Agostinho Fernandes, the 'Pai Tiatrist' who shaped Konkani tiatr, and tiatr still fills much of its calendar alongside drama competitions, classical music and school events. The complex also has a conference hall, a 100-seat Black Box and an open-air stage. The Pt Jitendra Abhisheki Sangeet Mahotsav was held here from 7 to 9 October 2026, IFFI uses it for screenings and open-air shows, and touring comedians book the main hall, including Vir Das on 21 November 2026.
Parking: On-site parking for about 150 cars and 400 two-wheelers
