About Goa Science Centre & Planetarium
The Goa Science Centre and Planetarium on the Miramar beach road has been Panaji's main children's attraction since it opened on 19 December 2001. Hands-on galleries, an outdoor science park, a planetarium and a 3D theatre fill a couple of hours, and the centre has an auditorium for science shows, school programmes and sky-watching events. It is open from 9:30 am to 6 pm, with last entry at 5:30 pm, and closes only on Holi and Diwali. Entry is ₹50, the planetarium ₹50 and the 3D show ₹40, or ₹120 for all three. Miramar beach is across the road, which makes it an easy half-day with children.
