Flea Markets & Night Markets in Goa

2 events matching right now across Goa β€” mostly nightlife (1), festival (1).

The one Goa market you can count on every week of the year is Mapusa's. The municipal market trades daily and overflows on Fridays with vendors from across Bardez selling produce, spices, Goan sausages, dried fish, pottery and clothes. The famous tourist markets are seasonal and need checking. The Anjuna flea market, which began among the hippies of the 1960s, has traditionally been held on Wednesdays from about 10 am to 4 pm in the dry season, and Arpora's Saturday night markets, with stalls, food and a live stage, have run on Saturday evenings from around November to April. When we checked in October 2026, we could not find confirmed opening dates for either for the 2026–27 season, so treat them as likely and confirm before you plan a day around them. Arambol's sunset market on the sand has been a fixture of past seasons. Pop-ups fill the gaps: Goa Sunsplash on 16 and 17 January 2027 has a flea market, the Chavticho Bazaar brings artisans to Panaji before Ganesh Chaturthi, and cafΓ©s such as Artjuna host craft and eco markets. This page lists markets and bazaars as dates are confirmed.

Good to know

  • Mapusa on Friday is best before 11 am. Arrive by bus, since the market is beside the Kadamba stand and parking is difficult.
  • Before travelling to the Anjuna Wednesday market or a Saturday night market, confirm on the day that it is running. Dates and permissions change from season to season.
  • Bargain politely. Opening prices at tourist markets are often double what the seller will accept.
  • Carry cash in small notes; network coverage at Anjuna and Arpora is patchy when the markets are crowded.
  • Night markets cause long jams on the Arpora hill road. Go early, around 6 pm, or leave after 11 pm.
