IFFI 2026 in Goa: Dates, Venues & How to Attend
The 57th International Film Festival of India runs from Friday 20 to Saturday 28 November 2026 in Panaji, which has hosted IFFI every year since 2004. To watch films in the theatres you need to register as a delegate on the festival's website: the 2026 fee is ₹1,180 including GST for film professionals and cine enthusiasts, and students register free. Registration opened on 15 September. The festival's venue page lists INOX Panaji and Maquinez Palace in the Old GMC precinct at Campal as the core screening venues, with INOX Porvorim, Ravindra Bhavan in Margao, Magic Movies in Ponda and the Ashok and Samrat screens in Panaji also showing films. The Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium at Taleigao is listed for the opening and closing ceremonies, and Kala Academy for masterclasses, although its main auditorium was due to close for repairs from August, so check the final schedule. You do not need a pass for everything: open-air screenings are listed at Miramar Beach, Anjuna Beach, Vagator and Ravindra Bhavan's grounds, and the riverside courtyards fill with stalls and installations. The WAVES Film Bazaar, the industry market, runs from 20 to 24 November. Ashutosh Gowariker is the festival director.

- Open-air screenings at Miramar Beach need no pass. Bring a mat and arrive before dark.
