Goa's tech scene is small and sociable, built on a mix of local startups, engineering campuses and people who moved here to work remotely. Meetups, demo evenings and hack days are held in co-working spaces and cafés in Panaji, Porvorim and the Assagao–Anjuna belt, mostly between October and March. The campuses add the bigger events: BITS Pilani's Goa campus at Zuarinagar near Vasco, IIT Goa and the Goa Engineering College at Farmagudi near Ponda, and Goa University at Taleigao all run technical festivals and public lectures, though none had published 2026–27 dates that we could verify in October.
