Things to do in Dona Paula & Taleigao

Dona Paula is the headland where the Mandovi and Zuari estuaries meet, about 7 km south-west of Panaji, known for its jetty viewpoint and the campuses behind it. The International Centre Goa hosts the Goa Arts and Literature Festival and regular talks, the National Institute of Oceanography and Goa University hold public lectures, and the resort hotels at Vainguinim take conferences and weddings. Taleigao, between the headland and the city, has the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, Goa's main indoor arena for ceremonies, expos and concerts. Serendipity has used the Nagalli Hills ground for its big music stage. Buses run from Panaji; late evenings need a taxi.
