About Tilak Maidan Stadium
Tilak Maidan is the football ground in the middle of Vasco da Gama, a compact 5,000-seat stadium run by the Sports Authority of Goa. For decades it has been one of the homes of Goan club football, hosting Goa Professional League fixtures, I-League games and local tournaments, and it was one of the three grounds used when the Indian Super League played its 2020–21 season in Goa. The pitch is close to the stands, which gives even small crowds some atmosphere. Because it is in the town centre, a short walk from the railway terminus, it is the easiest stadium in Goa to reach without your own vehicle.
