Concerts & Live Music in Goa
13 events matching right now across Goa — mostly music (10), nightlife (2), other (1). 1 is free.
Live music in Goa is seasonal and scattered, and since Sunburn moved away the state has had no single headline festival. The largest confirmed music event of the 2026–27 season so far is Goa Sunsplash, the reggae festival, on 16 and 17 January 2027 at Thalassa Beach Boutique Resort in Ashwem. In Panaji, the Serendipity Arts Festival from 13 to 20 December 2026 puts concerts on outdoor stages across the city. Classical music has its own circuit: the Pt Jitendra Abhisheki Sangeet Mahotsav was held at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, from 7 to 9 October 2026, and Kala Academy's Kesarbai Kerkar festival and Fundação Oriente's Monte Music Festival in Old Goa usually fall in the first quarter, with 2027 dates still to be announced. Kala Academy's main auditorium was due to close for repairs from August 2026. Week to week, music means band nights at resort bars such as Cavala in Baga, club nights at venues like Hammerzz Makarena in Vagator and psytrance at House of Chapora. One rule shapes everything: amplified music in the open has to stop at 10 pm, so open-air gigs start early and late nights happen indoors. This page lists concerts, gigs and festivals across Goa.

- Open-air shows end at 10 pm, so headliners play early. Arrive by the advertised start time.
- After the Arpora fire of December 2025, authorities banned fireworks and pyrotechnics inside clubs, bars and restaurants and shut several venues. If a venue looks overcrowded or has one exit, leave.
- Festival passes are sold in phases and get more expensive; Goa Sunsplash's first wave for 2027 had sold out by October 2026.
- Stay near the venue for festival nights. A taxi from Ashwem or Vagator to Calangute or Panaji after midnight is costly and slow.
- Carry photo ID. Club events are 18+ or 21+, depending on the venue.
Frequently asked questions
Is Sunburn in Goa in 2026?

What music festivals are in Goa this season?
Confirmed so far: the Serendipity Arts Festival in Panaji (13–20 December 2026), which includes concerts, and Goa Sunsplash in Ashwem (16–17 January 2027).
Why does music stop at 10 pm in Goa?
The Noise Pollution Rules bar loudspeakers in the open between 10 pm and 6 am, except in closed premises. The state can relax this on a limited number of festive nights each year.

At resort and restaurant bars in Baga, Candolim and Cavelossim, at cafés in Anjuna and Arambol, and at festival stages in Panaji in November and December.
